By profession, I'm an Information Technology Manager. Throughout my career, I've always been drawn to systems, processes, and finding better ways to make things work. Like many professionals, I enjoyed the stability of my career, but I also recognized the limitations that came with it. My schedule was largely determined by work responsibilities, meetings, deadlines, and ongoing commitments. While there was nothing wrong with that, I found myself looking for opportunities that could eventually provide greater flexibility and more control over how I spent my time.
